Earlier this year, the AMA Foundation covered roughly 90% of the cost to repair cracks in Site 3's runway at the International Aeromodeling Center (IAC). Totaling approximately $3,000, this project assisted with preparing the Site 3 runway for the 2025 flying season.
"As the flying season here at the IAC is in full launch, the AMA Foundation is grateful that we can play a small part in making the runways great for our pilots," said Executive Director Steve Haston.

The AMA Foundation's ability to assist with on-site projects at the IAC is only possible because of the generous donations that we receive from our donors. Through various funds, AMA Foundation donors are able to directly contribute to the projects that they are most passionate about supporting.
These funds include the AMA Programs Fund, which is dedicated in part to projects supporting the maintenance and improvement of the IAC. Contributions to this fund are crucial to the AMA Foundation's ability to continue financially supporting projects such as Site 3's runway repair.
"The AMA Foundation is happy to support improving on-site runways to make them safer and more enjoyable for our visitors," said Deputy Director Rachelle Haughn.

The AMA Foundation is overwhelmingly appreciative of all that its donors do. From monetary gifts to general support, our organization could not do what it does without donor assistance.
