AMA Foundation Board and Staff

As the fundraising arm of the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA), we strive to advance the education of individuals and groups interested in model aviation through educational programs, scholarships, and outreach initiatives.

The AMA Foundation was founded in 2013 with a mission to support the AMA's goals of promoting the safe operation of model aircraft, fostering innovation and creativity in aviation design, and providing a welcoming community for aviation enthusiasts. Since then, we have been working tirelessly to inspire young people to pursue their passion for aviation and STEM education through a variety of programs and initiatives.

At the Academy of Model Aeronautics Foundation, we believe that model aviation provides a unique and exciting opportunity for individuals of all ages to learn about aerodynamics, design, and technology. Our programs include Camp AMA, which aims to inspire young people to pursue careers in aviation and STEM fields, and the support of the National Model Aviation Museum, which houses one of the largest collections of model aviation artifacts in the world.

We also provide scholarships and grants to help aspiring students and clubs attend school, improve their flying sites, expose the community to the hobby, rebuild after natural disasters, and so much more.

We are proud to be a part of the AMA community and to share our love of model aviation with the world. Our organization is made up of passionate and dedicated donors and members who are committed to fostering a safe and welcoming environment for all model aviation enthusiasts. We welcome anyone who share our love of aviation and STEM education to join us in our mission!
