The Academy of Model Aeronautics Foundation is excited to announce that National Model Aviation Day 2024 will be on Saturday, August 17!
National Model Aviation Day was created to encourage clubs to celebrate the hobby and share it with the public. Our chartered clubs have also been asked to conduct a fundraiser to provide assistance to a worthy cause, like the AMA Foundation, and here is how you can get involved:

National Model Aviation Day 2024 T-shirts can be purchased online until June 30. These shirts will be perfect for the day of your event and will help people of all ages get excited for a day full of flying!

Leading up to and on the day of your event, make sure to share about how your club will be celebrating and use the hashtag #modelaviationday so that other hobbyists and members can see the wonderful things you and your club are doing! Our social media team will be watching the hashtag to see how our members and clubs are celebrating and making an impact and you might just see your posts being reshared!
