The AMA Foundation has been selected to receive an education grant from the Ball Brothers Foundation of Muncie, Indiana.
The $38,620 grant will allow AMA to team up with local educators and youth organizations to introduce Delaware County, Indiana (location of the AMA International Aeromodeling Center), youngsters to aeronautics.
The students will receive AMA Junior Camp kits and teachers will have access to videos and instructions for the kits.
The AMA Foundation learned on October 13, 2023, that it has been chosen to receive the grant. The Foundation applied for this same grant earlier this year, but did not receive it at that time. Thanks to cooperation between AMA's Education department and local community organizations, this time the application was successful.
