Year-End Giving—Donate to the Endowment Fund

Year-end giving is still in full swing! The AMA Foundation created a 2024 fundraising goal of $400,000, and so far, our generous donors have donated $224,474, which is roughly 56% of our goal! We want to thank all of our donors for their continued support, including those who recently donated on #GivingTuesday. The AMA Foundation could not do what it does without all of your consistent efforts. 

With roughly 40% of our goal left, we at the Foundation ask that you consider donating to our Endowment Fund. Whether you can spare $5 or $500, each dollar makes a difference and goes toward the hobby that we all know and love: model aviation. The AMA Foundation's Endowment Fund ensures the long-term sustainability and growth of AMA. Within the Endowment Fund, the principal remains intact and the generated income supports the Foundation's activities and a wide range of AMA programs. Educational initiatives, the National Model Aviation Museum, various scholarships and club grants, and International Aeromodeling Center upkeep are all positively impacted by the AMA Foundation's utilization of steady Endowment Fund income. 

Donating to the Endowment Fund allows you to donate to the future of model aviation, leaving a lasting legacy within our hobby. These donations provide AMA and the AMA Foundation with the financial security needed to confidently plan for the future, innovate, and grow. Endowment Fund monies are used in a way that has a direct and maximum impact on our hobby, while the fund's principal donations incur interest over time.
