Finger Lakes Air Pirates Receive AMA Club Recognition and Reward Grant
The Finger Lakes Air Pirates recently received an AMA Club Recognition and Reward grant for $50. The club is located in Waterlook, NY. The club hosted their 2018 Open House/Fun Fly in September. The event was open to all clubs and the general public. Night flying was available for campers. There were a variety of planes at the event which included vintage, warbirds, electric, nitro, gas, high start, and bungee. The AMA Club Recognition and Reward Program was established to encourage clubs to promote model aviation.
