Our members enjoy different forms of RC, including boating! We saw this at this year’s National Fun Fly. Many had fun sailing boats on one of AMA’s ponds, thanks to two local RC boat clubs and the donation of a temporary dock from EZ Dock of Mid-America. After seeing how much everyone enjoyed the dock, we couldn’t stand the thought of it being returned. That’s why we would love for a dock to become a permanent feature at AMA’s Headquarters. This dock would be installed on the second pond at the AMA and, in addition to being useful for RC boating, would also make it much easier to launch floatplanes. For that to happen, we need your help with a one-time, special fundraiser! If you help us reach our goal of $3,200, your name will be included on a special plaque near the dock when it is installed so that you will be a part of the dock’s many future voyages.
