The Flying For Good featured August submission is the Holly Springs Skyhawks Radio Control Group, located in Holly Springs, NC. On Sept. 1, the club hosted their annual Wings Over Springs event. The event was an electric fly in and swap meet. The event was held at Jefferson L. Sugg Farm at Bass Lake Park in Holly Springs, NC. The public was welcome for this free event. The club accepted donations and raised $500 for Meg's Smile Foundation. The Meg's Smile Foundation mission is to bring smiles to the faces of these children and their families while they are going through what can be a very long and emotional journey. The AMA would like to thank the Holly Springs Skyhawks Radio Control Group for hosting an event to give back to charity. The AMA wants to know how your club has given back to charity.
