On February 24, 2020, AMA Foundation Legacy Society Member, Robert Studinski passed away at his home in Benton, Kentucky. Upon his passing, Robert bequeathed $75,000 to the AMA Foundation Endowment Fund, which provides funding in perpetuity to the AMA benevolent programs through annual earnings and returns, leaving the fund's corpus untouched.
Robert's gift entered him into the AMA Foundation Legacy Society and has had, and will continue to have, a major impact on the future funding of programs at AMA.

The AMA Foundation would like to, again, give a major thank you to both Robert and his family for fueling their passion and providing support for the hobby. This gift will help provide stability to AMA's many different programs and will help ensure the future of model aviation and its modelers.
To show gratitude for Robert's gift and to give him a more permanent memorial at the International Aeromodeling Center (IAC), in Muncie, Indiana, the AMA Foundation team worked closely with his family to secure a bench and plaque with Robert's name.
Robert's memorial bench can be found along the Walk of Fame, which is located in front of the IAC. This bench signifies a man's lasting legacy on the hobby, and we hope that all who visit will be inspired by his story.
