The AMA Foundation held its inaugural movie night on July 8 to celebrate the opening of the 100th Outdoor Nats.
The movie, Top Gun: Maverick, began at roughly 10 p.m. The movie was shown at Site 1 at the International Aeromodeling Center (IAC) in Muncie, Indiana, on a 24-foot inflatable screen with technical and sound support provided by AMA Accounts Payable Clerk Cliff McKee. This fun community event was free to attend.
Before the movie started, attendees were treated to some Control Line Precision Aerobatics practice flights and enjoyed popcorn and iced tea. Thank you to AMC Theatres and Rural King for providing the popcorn, and to McAlister's Deli for donating iced tea.
Approximately 40 people attended the movie night, where they enjoyed a spectacular sunset, fireworks shows in the distance, and a great movie.
