Zach Cozzolino has been an AMA member and a member of the Sky Corral RC Club since he was about six-years-old. Zach’s favorite part of model aviation is the giant scale warbirds. Zach and his dad, along with several other members of their club, travel around the state to numerous warbirds events each year such as Warbirds over the Rockies, Warbirds over Denver, Warbirds over Pikes Peak, and Warbirds over Pueblo. Zach has also won numerous awards at these events, the most notable being best of show at Denver, and best flight award at Warbirds over the Rockies. Zach’s goals for the future include obtaining his construction management degree at CSU Pueblo, while playing football there. He has also made it a goal to lead his team to a national championship. In addition to model airplanes, Zach is a big outdoorsman. He loves hunting, fishing, camping, and riding ATVs. Football has also always been a big part of his life, and this past year as a senior Zach was able to lead his team as the quarterback to his schools first ever state championship.
