Drew Meyerhardt, son of Marci and Martin Meyerhardt, of Springfield, New Jersey, was an honor student at Jonathan Dayton High School. In the fall, he will attend Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York, to study aeronautical engineering. He has been a member of the Union Model Airplane Club since 2009, along with his father, and has been a flight instructor for the past two years. Drew’s other interests include playing the piano since the age of seven. He was active in his high school’s Chess Club, Model United Nations, and Science League. Drew was involved with his high school’s soccer, cross-country, and track and field teams.
