The AMA Foundation is thrilled to introduce Clarissa Poston as the newest member of the AMA Foundation team! As our new communications specialist, Clarissa will play a pivotal role in sharing the Foundation’s mission and expanding our reach to model aviation enthusiasts everywhere.
Clarissa comes to us with a strong background in writing, editing, and communications. A 2022 graduate of Ball State University, she earned her degree in English Literature with a minor in Professional Writing and Emerging Media. Her academic foundation has given her a deep understanding of effective storytelling, which she is excited to apply in her new role at the AMA Foundation.
Before joining our team, Clarissa spent two years in the AMA Publications department, where she served as a staff writer and copy editor. During this time, she honed her skills in crafting compelling content and refining messages that resonate with readers. Her attention to detail and passion for clear, engaging communication will be invaluable as she takes on her new role.
Clarissa is eager to connect with AMA Foundation donors and members, expanding her involvement in the model aviation community and spreading the joy of our hobby. Whether it’s through newsletters, social media, or other channels, Clarissa is committed to amplifying the Foundation’s message and helping to inspire others to take flight in this incredible hobby.
Please join us in welcoming Clarissa Poston to the AMA Foundation family! We’re excited to see the great things she will accomplish in her new role. Stay tuned for exciting updates and initiatives as she brings her creativity and enthusiasm to our team.
