#GivingTuesday, a global day of generosity, is celebrated the Tuesday following Thanksgiving. Since its inception in 2012, #GivingTuesday has given people the opportunity to make generous gifts to the causes that they care about, culminating billions of dollars for nonprofit organizations around the world.
Last year's #GivingTuesday fell on December 3, and the AMA Foundation hosted a virtual pet parade aimed at raising philanthropic gifts in celebration of this special day. As a bonus, the AMA Foundation pledged to donate 10% of all money raised through pet parade entries to Mango's Miracles, a local animal rescue organization! Thanks to the generosity of our participants, the AMA Foundation was able to present Mango's Miracles with a $100 donation!
Those who chose to enter their pets into this pet parade had the option of submitting their pet's photo into five different categories: Best Personality, Best Aviation Costume, Best Couple, Prettiest Eyes, and Funniest Pet. The votes have been tallied, and we're thrilled to announce the 2024 #GivingTuesday Pet Parade winners!

Through your consistent generosity and support, we're able to continue offering scholarships to aspiring youth, distribute funding to clubs that are negatively impacted by natural disasters, support the National Model Aviation Museum, and so much more!
