Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) Grants: When you give through your DAF, you can use the funds you've already set aside in support of the AMA Foundation. DAFs allow you to see immediate tax benefits from your contributions and then pass them along to organizations like ours at opportune moments later on.
IRA Accounts: If you are 70.5 or older and have a traditional IRA, consider using this tool to give from your account. Generally speaking, IRA gifts are always tax-free and can help you reduce your future tax burden and satisfy a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) if you must take one.
Stock and Cryptocurrency: If you have appreciated assets, donating them avoids federal capital gains taxes and provides a federal income tax deduction for the current market value of the gift. We can use the full value of your stock to power our programs.
