It's time to celebrate! The AMA Foundation is turning 13 this year, and we're inviting the entire AMA community to help us celebrate this special milestone.
Birthdays are the perfect time to look back at where we've been, celebrate where we are today, and look ahead to what's next. Established in 2013, the AMA Foundation has had the privilege of supporting the pilots, copilots, programs, and initiatives that help grow, protect, and strengthen the hobby and sport of model aviation for over a decade. And we couldn't have done it without the generosity and support of our members and donors!
For our birthday, we're keeping things simple: we're asking our community of hobbyists to make a $13 gift to the AMA Foundation in honor of our 13th birthday!
While $13 might seem like a small gift, when our community comes together, those individual gifts can add up to a tremendous impact. And, just like choosing your favorite birthday cake flavor, you get to decide where your $13 goes! We have a variety of funds available, allowing you to donate to the area of our work that means the most to you.
Whether you choose to support scholarships that help students pursue their educational goals, artifact preservation that allows the National Model Aviation Museum to keep our hobby's history alive, or grant funding to ensure that AMA clubs across the country can keep flying, your $13 birthday gift will leave a lasting impact.
Over our 13 years, the AMA Foundation has continued to be impressed by the level of passion that our community of hobbyists holds. The support we receive from members and donors is what allows us to continue taking our hobby to new heights, and for that, we're extremely grateful. Thank you!
