Randy Pointer was nominated by his friend, Doug Durham. Doug shared the following sentiment about Randy and his support:
"Randy has been nothing but selfless to myself and others. He freely gives up his time to help other members with new planes and encouragement to try new models. He has handed the 'sticks' to a few of us to let us get a feel for something new. He is also our club trainer. I have known him for 6 years now and he has been a great friend and resource to myself and others. He is very deserving of this award."
