"Diedra is vital to the success of our club meetings, seeing to the logistics of supplies, refreshments, and setup/takedown. She also provides witty repartee as needed, to make sure we don't take ourselves too seriously. She has assisted me hundreds of times at youth programs and school airshows and assorted public displays of aeromodeling, as my 'lovely assistant,' helping kids get their first model into the air. Diedra helps staff our club booth at various events, promoting our hobby and recruiting new members. In addition, she has shown endless patience with my own ever-expanding hobby collection, allowing large areas of our house to be overrun with balsa, kits, planes, and tools. Her only fault is a tendency to steal my tools for her own craft projects. I compensate by buying 2 of everything so she can have her own."
