Chip Kiehlbauch was nominated by his friend, Robert Solis. Robert shared the following sentiment about Chip and his support:
"I joined the Thunderbirds in 2025 and reunited with Chip after many years apart. Chip taught not only me but many of the pilots in the club. He is part of the Thunderbirds Dawn Patrol and is always available to assist new pilots and maiden airplanes and EDF’s. Chip gives selflessly to the club and divides his time taking care of his wife and mother at his home.
I cannot think of a more caring and loving person and the Thunderbirds are blessed to have him as a member!"
