Carl Caldeira was nominated by his friend, Paul Lombardino. Paul shared the following sentiment about Carl and his support:
"Carl has been a steadfast supporter of my RC aviation activities. Although he is not a pilot himself, he deeply appreciates the skill and dedication required in the hobby. He regularly travels over an hour with me to the flying field, watches me and others fly, and offers help and encouragement wherever he can. His loyalty, enthusiasm, and genuine respect for the sport make him an invaluable friend, and I am grateful for his unwavering support.
Carl’s support is rooted in sincere appreciation, not obligation. He sees RC aviation as a blend of engineering, precision, and artistry. Even without flying himself, he values the commitment it takes to build, maintain, and safely operate model aircraft. His encouragement comes from admiration, not convenience."
