Bob Slaugh was nominated by his friend and trainee, Wyatt Williams. Wyatt shared the following sentiment about Bob and his support:
"Bob trained me when I first started flying. He was very patient, provided his own aircraft and a buddy box, spent hours with me teaching me the fundamentals, and has been supportive as I began the journey in RC airplane flying. Today, I can fly on my own and have several aircraft, and I routinely fly with him.
Bob is also the president of the Casper Airmodelers Association and volunteers his time to run the club and provide a fantastic facility. I'm thankful that he spent time training me and that he leads this great organization, which has a fantastic facility in Casper, Wyoming."
