Charles (Sam) Wright- Blossvale, NY
Charles Wright, better known as Sam to everyone, has been flying model aircrafts since he was eight years old. Wright is from the city of Blossvale, NY where he is a member of the Camden Cloudbusters Model Airplane Club.
Wright enjoys flying a variety of models. He has provided demonstrations for a number of different clubs and audiences including the cub scouts in his area and his fellow students during school functions.
Wright will be graduating with honors in June and will be attending Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY in the fall. He plans to pursue a degree in aeronautical engineering as well as a second degree in mechanical engineering.
After undergraduate study, Wright wants to pursue a Master’s degree in the same fields. He hopes to be able to land a career with Boeing or the military where he can develop innovative designs for new aircrafts.
