I have been flying model airplanes since I was a boy. I remember the first kit my dad brought me, it was a multi-pack of Gillow style planes: gliders, rubber band powered, and the grand finale was a built up cabin style high wing rubber powered plane.
From there it was control line, all .049 variety. My first R/C plane was a Carl Goldberg Falcon 56 Mark II, my dad built it but it was very underpowered with a 0.15 engine. Then I built my first R/C plane, a Great Planes PT40 with a K&B 40. I loved that plane and had all sorts of fun with it. Over the years I have built too many planes to count, and still have kits I have yet to build. This is a hobby that I will have through my entire life, and I am grateful for everything it has given to me.
