From the streets of Chicago’s South Side to the forefront of drone technology, Michael's journey is one of grit, reinvention, and leadership.

Starting out with humble roots, he built a successful career in corporate tech, including years with Microsoft, before retiring to pursue his true passion—aviation and drones.

Michael, known worldwide as "The Drone Pro," is licensed to fly drones in the U.S., U.K., and Canada, with more than 6,000 UAV flight hours and a decade of experience. He holds multiple industry certifications and awards. His career spans façade inspections, precision mapping, structural assessments, international cross-border UAV cargo operations, and media work, but some of his most rewarding work has been training first responders worldwide in drone deployment for search and rescue, disaster response, and public safety missions.

Today, as Chief Flight Instructor for Drone Technologies at Dallas College and Founder of Uncrewed Aerospace, Michael continues to bridge cutting-edge innovation with workforce development—turning hard-won experience into real-world impact for communities and industry alike.
