I started flying rc planes in January of 1986. This was a lifelong dream since attending the Reno air races in 1974. It was there I saw the local club flying their planes prior to the start of the races and airshow. When I graduated from college I bought my first plane and learned to fly in Phoenix Arizona. My trainer was Ozzie Virgil who played Baseball for the Altanta Braves. He and his Dad were members of AMPS.

I learned to fly at that field and later moved to Northern Utah where I taught my Dad to fly and now my oldest Son. It has been such a joy to fly all these years. I have been very fortunate to fly this 50 percent scale J 3 Cub, T 33 Jet, and now Helicopters. For a number of years I competed in Pattern flying. I hope to fly as long as I am able. Now 66, started at 25 years of age.
