I started modeling at age 6, and I'm now 83 and still active. After graduating from MIT with a degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics, I spent 8 years in the Aerospace industry but then escaped to spend 35 years professionally designing model aircraft and toys.
I designed for Estes Rockets, Fox Manufacturing, Cox Hobbies, DCU Gliders, Mattel, and Lanier Models. In addition, I published designs in Model Airplane News, Flying Models, Aeromodeller, Model Aviation, Junior Aircraft Modeler, Stunt Hangar, Radio Control Modeler, and On the Wing.
During a five-year period, I wrote a magazine column for Model Builder Magazine. I was inducted into the AMA Hall of Fame in 2010.
