
İbrahim Yavuz Dal is an academic and air sports expert born in Eskişehir. He has worked for many years as a lecturer at Anadolu University and Eskişehir Technical University, specializing in sports sciences and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) technology. Throughout his academic journey, he earned a bachelor's degree in physical education and sports teaching, a master's degree in sports sciences, and a doctorate in sports management and recreation. His research has made significant contributions, particularly in the field of recreational aviation.
During his aviation career, he has been involved in various air sports, including paragliding, gliding, and UAVs, winning numerous awards in national and international competitions. He has achieved remarkable success in UAV design competitions with his team, particularly in organizations such as TÜBİTAK and SAE International. Additionally, he has published academic papers and books at national and international levels and has served as a technical jury member at scientific conferences. Recognized for his contributions to aviation and sports sciences, Dal has developed an interdisciplinary expertise by integrating his academic work with his aviation experience.
Since 2004, Yavuz Dal has been actively involved in model aircraft flying and has been a trainer and competitive pilot at the Eskişehir Aviation Club, where he is a member. Since 2007, he has been organizing and serving as the competition director for the 2-meter glider competitions (F3L, F3RES categories) held in Eskişehir by his club. He has achieved numerous first-place finishes and team championships in these competitions.
