I have been involved with RC flying since 1986 and have built and flown models from high wing trainers when I first started to ducted fan jets. I enjoy the finishing and scale attributes of aircraft cockpits to clean and precise wiring in fuselages. I hate to see rats nests inside fuselages.

Nowadays, I am flying mostly 42% to 55% aircraft such as Carden 300 pro with 126" wingspan to 55% Christen Eagle. I guess I like large aircraft, as to me they fly much like the real thing.

The one biggest improvement I have seen over the years is the top quality of our radio equipment and the associated power management systems. The building of models has somewhat come and gone and replaced with ARF's which have come full circle from the early ARF's which were so-so to the precise and outstanding ARF's available today.

My wish for the hobby is to have greater involvement of the youth of our world. The old timers of the hobby are getting older (like me) and we need the younger folks to get involved to keep our great hobby growing and going worldwide. Our clubs around the world are the main focus for keeping our hobby vibrant and growing. The RC world has definately had a positive impact on my life as I love this hobby and aviation.
