Gerald Stucky Biography

I joined the AMA in 1978. I’ve competed on a national and world level and one mini contest in RC aerobatics. Over the years, I have designed and flown several designs of my own. I have held AMA offices for Baxter Field flying club in Oklahoma City.

I have designed and placed search and rescue products at various fire departments within the United States. I am a current FAA part 107 card holder and have taught 107 prep classes for different entities.

In 2012, I partnered with a retired army general and began contracting for the department of defense and various defense contractors providing target drones for small UAS operations. I currently supply Drones of three categories for research and development and testing of small UAV weaponry for the department of defense. Much of my work is classified, but there are many projects that we performed that have furthered our country's ability to defend against enemy drone fair.

From an RC hobbyist in the 1970s to a defense contractor today. Aircraft modeling has enabled me to see the world and be involved in leading edge development and technology.
