As a kid, I was fascinated with aviation and built many rubber-powered Guillow's kits. At 14, I purchased a SiG Kadet Sr. with a 2-stroke glow engine. Only flew it once with an instructor handling takeoff and landing.
Had that for a number of years while looking for a suitable air field in my new town and scrapped it the same day I found our local field. Learned how to fly my UMX Radian, then moved on to Flite Test planes in 2018. Since then, I have attended many area fun-fly’s, amassed an 80-plane fleet of assorted kit-builds and swap meet finds with a few new ARF’s here and there. Now I fly with my son at these events and we have each won an RC combat at Edgewater or Furey Field.
