Two of the last few remaining members of the Fort Worth Planesmen visited the International Aeromodeling Center (IAC) in Muncie, Indiana, in August. Bob Grove and Frank Jozwiak traveled from Oklahoma and Texas respectively to meet the AMA Foundation staff. While at Headquarters, Bob signed two new scholarships established by the club through its generous donations.

Thirteen students awarded a total of $59,001 for academic pursuits The Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) has helped graduating seniors achieve their dreams since 1970, with individual scholarships ranging from $500 to $8,000 each year. This year, $59,001 was awarded to students. Student scholarships are awarded each year thanks to the generous support of AMA members and AMA Foundation donors across the country. AMA has awarded nearly $1.3 million in scholarships since founding the scholarship program.
