For the past two years, he has been in the National Honor Society and has received the Notre Dame de la Baie Academy Service Award. He was involved in VEX robotics for two years and his junior year his team’s robot qualified for nationals. Noah played football, basketball, track, and is currently on the varsity golf team. He started flying radio controlled airplanes with his dad at the Green Bay Model Airplane Club at the age of four on a buddy box and two years later, was flying solo. He enjoys flying all types of aircraft, especially his dad’s large scale warbirds. Most recently he has been building and experimenting with FPV racing quadcopters. During the summer of 2015, Noah began instructing/training people at the Green Bay Model Airplane Club’s Learn to Fly/Open House program, which is fifteen weeks throughout the summer. He helped assist in the training of over three hundred people that year and they also received the AMA district Service Award. Noah enjoyed it so much that he did it again in 2016 and is looking forward to the start of the 2017 training program season. Noah also enjoys flying full size aircraft with his dad as much as he can, even though he has not acquired his license yet. Starting in the fall of 2017, he will be attending Michigan Technological University for mechanical engineering. Noah would like to thank the AMA for their generous scholarship award which will assist him in furthering his future education.
