Jonathan “Jon” Christian Garber was born on March 2, 1998. Jon has one older sister, Kelly, who is 20. In the fall of 2016, Jon will be attending San Diego State University to study aerospace engineering. He will also be working as an intern this summer for Northrop Grumman Corporation. Jon’s passion is creating and flying model aircraft with a concentration in Soaring. In 2015, Jon attended his first Nats competition and took 10th place overall in the ALES group and Best Junior. In 2016, Jon won the National Champion title in the ALES competition at the Nats. In 2015, Jon placed 13th overall in the ALES league’s national contest, and in 2016 he took third place overall.
