Andrew's aeromodeling experience stems from his father and grandfather's passion for modeling and flight. Since he was young, he has been and AMA member immersed in model aviation, and every aspect of it. His grandfather taught him how to fly control-line at Flushing Meadow Park, NY, as well as building profile CL models. Andrew also learned how to fly RC with his dad at the age of five. As he got older, his father began to include him in the building process of some their scale models. He has competed in CL Stunt and IMAC competitions, but his favorite is 1/2A CL Combat with his younger brother and grandfather. As a family they have gone to many AMA events during the summer months.

Andrew's home field is Lead Member club, the Edgewood Flyers. They help maintain the field, participating in scheduled cleanups, club events, and teaching others to fly. He also participated for three years with his dad at his school to provide after-school aviation programs for 8th graders.

He started his educational journey at Saint Joseph School in Brentwood, NY. Then he moved to Saint Mary School in East Islip, NY, where he graduated 8th grade. He enjoyed is high school years at Saint John the Baptist High School in West Islip, NY, where he will graduate in June and move on to Suffolk Community College studying History.

Outside of school and modeling, Andrew enjoys music, singing, playing the clarinet, and trumpet. He has volunteered at a local soup kitchen since 2016, where he serves meals and cleans up. He also works part-time at a local town pharmacy.
