Alexandra “Sasha” Nadein has been an active F2D pilot since 2009, following her father’s footsteps and competing in 20 contests based both in the USA and internationally. She’s won 4 national titles and has been the junior to represent the United States at the FAI Control Line World Championships in Poland (2014) and Australia (2016). In Australia, Sasha placed 3rd junior and 10th overall, deeming it to be her greatest accomplishment in the modeling community. Sasha sees the community as her family and enjoys the moments she gets to spend with fellow pilots both on and off the field. She’s studying Songwriting and Music Business at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance based in London, UK and hopes that someday she can bring that same sense of community to the music industry. She believes she will always be a part of the community, knowing that the statement “once a pilot, always a pilot” is very true.
