When nature turns cruel, AMA supports its clubs.
This past week, Hurricane Helene caused major damage across the East Coast of the USA. Many areas are without power, water, or transportation. The AMA Foundation sends our thoughts to the thousands of people affected by this disaster. If you or a loved one needs immediate assistance due to the hurricane, please look into the following disaster relief resources.

As communities rebuild, many chartered clubs may need to repair their flying sites. The AMA Foundation’s Programs Fund offers financial assistance for these repairs through the Disaster Relief Grant. So far in 2024, the AMA Foundation has awarded $8,945.59 in grants to ten clubs that have experienced damage due to a natural disaster.
If your club has been affected by Hurricane Helene, do not hesitate to apply for the Disaster Relief Grant. The AMA Foundation wants nothing more than to support clubs during difficult times, so please take advantage of the resources available to you.
If you would like to support the AMA Foundation’s efforts for clubs in need, donate to the Programs Fund today. The support provided to clubs from the Programs Fund truly helps make a difference in members’ lives. It is with the help of our donors that we can continue helping clubs rebuild after disasters such as hurricanes.
