James G. Clark Biography

I just turned 71 years old today. I have loved airplanes since about 4 years old. I started flying GA planes at 12 and soloed at 16. I started a family in the early 20s, so I had to put airplanes on hold. Airplanes have been a big part of my life. I will never forget my ride in a B-17 "Aluminum Overcast." I started flying RC airplanes full time 2.5 years ago.

I now live on 10 acres and have built my own RC Air Park. This last winter, I designed and built a Canard airplane mostly from scratch. It flies beautifully. I did a lot of research on canard planes, and it paid off. Funny, I worked in the boating world for most of my life, but my love for airplanes is still tops.

Thank you, AMA, for all the great information concerning this wonderful hobby.
