I am the District I senior associate vice president (AVP) and AMA district outreach team (ADOT) coordinator. I've spent a lifetime in and out of the hobby. I started modelling like many have, in a cul-de-sac with .049/ 1/2 A powered Control Line planes with friends until we ran out of glow fuel! This led to bigger models and RC, along with attending airshows in Rhode Island. My love of aviation and aerobatics was fostered by model aviation, and it led to a fulfilling career and now a rewarding hobby.
Back in 2010, I met District I Vice President Andy Argenio. In 2012, I became AVP for Government Advocacy and now have found great satisfaction in facilitating public and educational outreach through ADOT. I enjoy all disciplines of modeling, from micro indoor to turbine jets. I'm from Greenland, New Hampshire.
I donate for the same reason I volunteer as a district leader. I believe in the mission and have hope that we can strengthen the AMA community by positive adaptations to our ever-evolving environment of aeromodeling, maximizing opportunities for success.
I've spent a lifetime in aviation, enjoying aerobatic flight instruction and 35 years of airline piloting.
